David Rex Rogers

Cedar City, UT - David Rex Rogers, 47, passed away December 7, 2009, in Cedar City, UT. He was born September 14, 1962, in St. George, UT, to Will and Dewalla Bushhead Rogers. He married Colleen Pete March 9, 1984, in Cedar City, UT.
David enjoyed hunting deer, going to drum circle, singing at Pow Wow's, and all Native American cultural activities. He loved spending time with family and friends. He was an avid hat collector and enjoyed wrestling and watching the Jazz on TV. David also spent many hours volunteering at the Iron County Care and Share.
David is Survived by his Son; Jessie Grant Rogers of Cedar City, UT; Daughter Amanda Michelle Crooks Purtell of Snow Flake, AZ; Brothers; Glenn Rogers of St. George, UT, Harvey Rogers NE, and Derek Rogers of Cedar City, UT, Nephews; Mark Rogers, Jared Wall, Niece; Amy Wall all of St. George, UT; Life Partner, Janie Henderson, Step Daughter Heidi Henderson, and Grandchildren; Hannah, Sarah, Samuel and Abraham Henderson all of Cedar City, UT.
Funeral Services will be held Friday December 11, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at the Shivwits Community Building. An all night sing will be held Thursday December 10, 2009, starting at 7:00 p.m. A visitation will also take place Friday one hour prior to service, all at the Community Building. Interment will take place at the Shivwits Cemetery.
