Dee Jay Neville, age 84, passed away Thursday, March 08, 2012, in Washington, UT. He was born September 1, 1927, in Medford, Oregon to David and Veda Browning Neville. He married Marget Josephine Nelson on December 27, 1950, in the Logan Utah Temple.
He was raised in Prospect, Oregon. He served in the United States Navy. He graduated from Utah State University with his wife in 1952 with an Electrical Engineering degree. He retired in 1992 from Puritan Bennett. They raised their eight children in Southern California, Simi Valley. Dee and his wife moved to Washington, Utah in 2004 to be near several of their children. Dee loved to garden and take care of his yard. He had a passion for genealogy. He spent his life serving others. He believed that you didn't need to buy things new; you fix up the old and make do with what you have.
He is survived by his eight children, Steve Evan, David Scott, Dan Alan, DeAnn, Nancy Marie, Marcie Lynn, Brian George, Janette Dawn, 35 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Washington Fields Stake Center, 1295 S. 3000 E. St George, Utah. A viewing will precede the funeral service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at the Stake Center.
Interment will take place on Monday at the Logan City Cemtery.
