Denton Lavar Taylor

Denton Lavar Taylor passed away on May 16, 2011 after battling a long-term medical illness. Denton was born June 12, 1959 to Myles Lavar Taylor Jr. and Karen Lucile Smith. He graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1977. He retired from US Postal Service after nearly 20 years of service and was an active member of the National Association of Letter Carriers. Denton enjoyed the outdoors, camping and community service. He is survived by father, Myles Lavar Taylor, Jr; brother, Scott Gregory Taylor; and sister, Shalice Marik Tilton. He was preceded in death by his mother Karen Lucile Taylor. Family and friends are invited to join us on Denton's birthday, June 12, for a casual gathering to celebrate his life at 487 Laney Way, Draper, 2:00-4:00 p.m.
