Diana R. Wentzell

Diana Wentzell January 18, 1947 - February 20, 2008
Diana Wentzell passed away peacefully in her home in West Jordan on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 after fighting a long battle with emphysema.
Diana was born Ruth Helga Elisabeth Youngenickel on January 18, 1947 in Munich Germany. Diana married David Wentzell on May 28, 1980 in Colorado. Diana grew up in Germany moving to Utah with David in 1984 after he was re-located with the army. Diana enjoyed being with her friends, she was on many bowling leagues and was a regular at the Midvale Mining Company in Midvale, Utah. Diana had a wonderful sense of humor and loved spending time sharing old family stories with her children.
Diana is survived by her loving husband Dave; her three sons, Raymond (Phyllis) of Fountain, Colorado; Bob (Heather) of West Jordan, Utah; Patrick (Kim) of West Jordan, Utah; nine grandchildren: Amber, Aubry, Courtney, Brayden, Sabrina, Katy, Richard, Leo and Whitney; one great-grandchild: Deona; her sister Inga. She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her be-loved dogs: Leika, Rexy, Brandy and Taz.
A private family devotion will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008.
