"Together Again" Don Duane Canady, age 79, of Provo, Utah, passed away June 8, 2007. He was born November 18, 1927 in Garnett, Kansas. His early youth was spent in exotic travel with his father, Don Avis Canady, an international construction worker, and with his mother, Wilma Esther Guffey Canady. He served in the Marine Corps Reserve in Europe at the end of WWII. He married his high school sweetheart, Gloria Jeanne Joy of Iola, Kansas on September 4, 1945. She passed away August 26, 2000. They had three children, Cheryl Madsen (Ozzie), Pamela Weight (David), and Richard (died, age two). Don's career choice was as an electrician at Dugway Proving Grounds and job sites around the world. He was a master at bowling and fishing, was a pilot for the Civil Air Patrol, read extensively, played most sports, and wrote poetry.
He is survived by his two daughters and his five grandchildren: Julie (David) Jordan, Lisa (Charles) Giacoletto, Matthew (Angie) Weight, Hollie Madsen, and Eric Weight; and seven great-grandchildren.
