Don Prescott passed away on July 25,2008 of emphysema. His suffering is over. Born in Boulder City, Nevada to Frank Prescott and Louise Klein on August 7, 1935 he is survived by his sister Bernice Anderson (Lynn) his nephews, John (Maria), Bob (Meg). Don is also survived by daughter, Gayle Prescott and grandchildren, Ryan, Prescott (PJ his namesake) and Hannah Jane, son, Geary Prescott and granddaughter, Bethany. Preceded in death by wife RaeAnn and parents (he wanted me to put in his Dougdale cousins, friends Devon Jenkins and Norm Hall... .and I can't seem to delete it... so Pop, you win again!)
Don was a loving father, loyal friend and had a wonderful sense of humor. He lived in Park City for years and has many dear friends. His skill at carpentry is apparent in many homes and businesses through out Summit County. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do to help a friend in need! Don loved the outdoors, he loved fishing, hunting, horse back riding and skiing! There wasn't a horse he couldn't ride! He was a great cook and enjoyed discovering new recipes.
Pop was my champion and I was his. I am honored to be his daughter and will miss his laughter and the many hours of conversations! I am deeply grateful for his hospice nurses, aids and social workers who helped him so much these past months. Dedication of his grave will be held on his birthday August 7, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Francis, Cemetery, Francis, Utah.
