Donna Fern Ogilvie Griffin was born January 25, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William and Ida Ogilvie. The 7th of 9 children. Married to Wallace "Wally" Griffin, October 25, 1962 in Logan Utah (Logan LDS Temple)
Went to West High, U of U and BYU. Graduated from Excelcis Beauty School. Worked as a cosmetologist for many years at Auerbach's. She considered her greatest achievement her family and called then her jewels, gem and treasures.
She was known for her homemade bread and fudge, was a talented seamstress and made many wedding dresses and loved oil painting. She was always curious how things are made and worked and if it broke would try to fix it. She was a reader and a problem solver. She willingly gave of her time and helped many people with her talents.
She is survived by her Children: Norma Newman, Kelene (David) Rowley, Lori (Dan) Knight, and Stuart; 21 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, her sister Eileen, and sisters-in laws - Liz and Loretta
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, 7 of her siblings, son-in-law Ken Newman, daughter-in-law Karalea Griffin and great grandson Steeve.
