Our beloved mother and grandmother, Donna Carolyn Rencher, 74, Highland, Utah died peacefully after a long illness 10 Sept 2009. Born 14 March 1935 in Mesa, Arizona to Genevieve and John Emery. She attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a BS in Elementary Education. She married Paul R. Rencher 6 September 1956 in Mesa Arizona LDS Temple. She taught school for the Alpine School District and then dedicated her life to serving her family.
Carolyn spent many years caring for her beloved grandchildren and serving many within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved to work in her yard and create beauty there. Carolyn also cultivated the fine art of pottery. She found her greatest joy in serving others and being with her family and friends. She also enjoyed listening to music and sang in many choirs over her lifetime.
Survived by her children; Mark(Liz), Robert(Karen), Sharon Willden(David), David(Colleen), 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul, son Steven, mother, brother; John T. Emery, and her Aunt Phyllis.

Funeral services will be held at the Amity LDS Ward Chapel in Eagar, Arizona (576 W. School Bus Road), Saturday, 26 Sept 2009 at Noon with the burial after at the Eager Cemetery. The family will meet prior to services at the church from 11 to 11:45 am. A memorial service will be held in Burien, Washington at the Normandy Park LDS Chapel , 200 S. 177th Place, Thursday, 1 October 2009 at 10:00 AM.
