Dorothy DeBarbieri

Dorothy DeBarbieri (McDonald)was born in New York City June 7, 1919 to Edward and Adeline McDonald (Hastings).
Words like gentle, kind, generous, hardworking, and loving - come to mind when you think of this beautiful person. Everyone that knew her loved her. She had the strength of a lion and the heart of a lamb. Even though Alzheimer's imprisoned her mind it never stole her sweet spirit.
She moved to Milwaukee after she retired to be near her daughter. She loved card games and bingo. Going to church then reading the Sunday paper with her cup of coffee. Going shopping and the 3 tenors, but most of all she loved her family-especially the little ones.
She is survived by her brother, Raymond McDonald (Ida), her daughter, Dorothy Henkel, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. We will miss you so.
Her deceased parents; husband, Albert; beloved sister, Muriel; her precious daughter, Alberta; and all those who've gone before her are dancing in heaven as they greet her with great joy.
On Thursday, April 16 @ 12 noon to 1:00 pm there will be a viewing for family and friends followed by mass services at St Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, 7405 S Redwood Rd WJ, UT 84084
Thanks to her very special people at sandy regional, who treated her with such kindness and dignity, especially Marilyn and also to Jolene, Jennifer and Tracy at Sunbrook Hospice.
