Dorothy Lorene Jensen

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother went home to her Heavenly Father on April 5, 2007 due to cancer. She's joining her soulmate, Phillo and son, John. Born July 3, 1929 in Salt Lake City to Athen Jay and ILa Lorene Canutson Hansen. Married Phillo Larsen Jensen on May 11,1945, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She enjoyed spending time with her family, bowling, bingo and word puzzles. Dorothy was very loving towards her family and she will be greatly missed.

Survived by six of her children, Carolyn (Mayo Keith) Young, Phylis Perea, Sandra Jensen, Pamela (Micheal) Keller, Kevin Jensen and Steven (Tracy) Jensen, 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Phillo and son, John.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Rocky Mountain Hospice, especially Dina, Mike and Rebecca.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at the Taylorsville 8th Ward 1495 West Tamarack Road. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens. Directors, SereniCare Funeral Home.
