Dorothy Jean Robison Tervort

Dorothy Jean Robison Tervort; 78, of Orem, Utah returned to her Heavenly Father surrounded by her family at her home after a valiant battle with a extensive illness. Dorothy was born November 12, 1929 in Hinkley, Utah, the daughter of Kenneth and Nina Moody Mecham. She attended schools in Hinkley, Utah graduating from Hinkley High School. In 1947 she married Brooks Eugene Robison in Ely, Nevada. He preceded her in death. In 1978 she married Ned H. Tervort in Las Vegas, Nevada. He also preceded her in death. Dorothy was a member of the LDS Church and her marriage to Brooks was solemnized in 2001 in the Timpanogos Temple. Dorothy loved her children, 31 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. Family was her life. She is survived by her six loving children, Steve Robison, Wayne (Penny) Robison, Russ (Cathy) Robison, Danielle (Kent) Marchant, Robert (Marie) Robison, Lori Gibbons, Harold Tervort and Pat Marcroft. Her siblings, Ron (Cheryl) Mecham, Betty (Keith) Cory, LaDawn (Demar) Davis and Dick (Diane) Mecham. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Orem LDS 4th Ward Chapel, (225 East 200 North, Orem, Utah). The family will meet with friends on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Orem 4th Ward Chapel and again on Thursday, prior to services from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery. We wish to share our appreciation to Applegate Hospice, mom's nurse, Janice, Dr Curzan, mom's loving neighbors and the Relief Society for their kindness and service during mom's illness.
