Dorothy Nuhn Woodward

Dorothy married Hyrum Woodward in the Logan LDS temple on May 23, 1935. They were married 62 years until Hy's death in 1997. She enjoyed spending time with her family, genealogy,playing the organ, and serving in church leadership positions. Dorothy spent many years caring for her mother, father, sister and husband through various health issues. She is survived by her sons, Lanny (Jonnie) Woodward, Val (Karen) Woodward, and daughter Rhonda Woodward. She has 17 grandchildren, 40 Great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Ouida (Boyd) Blanthorn.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband; two daughters Gweena Woodward and Myrlene (Leo) Leavitt, and a great grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 10:15am on Saturday August 27, 2011 at the Hillcrest 1st ward chapel located at 8485 S. 1000 E. in Sandy, Ut. There will be a viewing before the funeral starting at 9:30am for friends to visit with the family. Interment will be in the Wellsville City Cemetery after services.
