Douglas H Kunze

Douglas H. Kunze, age 70, died on the Fourth of July 2012. He was born December 29th 1941 to Emil George and DonnaAnn Hiatt Kunze.
Doug was a man known for his noble character, strength and humility. His life was dedicated to providing for his family. He always claimed his family as his greatest accomplishment. Doug also served his Country in the U.S. Army and retired from Geneva Steel after 30 years.
He enjoyed farming, hunting and horseback riding. Above all of these he loved firearms. He was an excellent marksman. This passion and knowledge he shared with his family and all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Darleen Kunze, five daughters and spouses, Karmyn Kunze (Darin) Swan, Kamile Kunze (Troy) Peterson, Karla Kunze (Travis) Palfreyman, Kathi Kunze (Jerald) Spencer and Karrah Kunze (Bret) Martin and 18 grandchildren. His brothers, Harold E. Kunze, Wayne L. Kunze and Dan K. Kunze and his sister Marianne Kunze Biesinger.
The Services will be held at The LDS church located at 860 E 200 N Springville on Monday July 9th. Viewing 10:00-11:30 am, Funeral at 12:00. The burial will follow at the Historic Springville City Cemetery at 200 W 400 S.
