Ducky James E Duckworth Duck

Duck passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family and friends. He fought a valiant battle for 8 years, with COPD. It was a hard 8 years for him. He worked with a wonderful group of friend's at Forest Product Sales.
He had the honor of being elected President of Kearns American baseball league and Kearns Babe Ruth baseball league, where he touched the lives of many young men and their families.
He enjoyed hunting with his sons and fishing with his son's and wife at Flaming Gorge, riding snowmobiles, and the outdoors. His humor was incredible, bringing a smile to everyone's face.
He was so proud of being decorated Marine. " SEMPER FI"
He loved his Brother-in-laws and Sister-in-laws, plus all of the nieces and nephews he left behind. Proud of his son's and their wives who loved him as well as his grandchildren.
We as a family would like to thank the VA doctors who took such good care of him and to Superior Home Care & Hospice whose love and compassion will be with us forever. To Clint, Carol, Darrin and Ilene a very special thank you for all your help us with as a family. And to Peni and Shelly Malohifo'ou from SereniCare for all of the time they spent helping with final arrangements. We love all of you.
To all of our friend's Thank you for your care and support.
The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone;
For part of us went with you, The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, Your love is still our guide; And though we can not see you, You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same; But as God call us one by one, The chain will link again
