Edith Calton Jones

Died 30 August 2012 after serving her family and church faithfully for 101 years.

She was born February 27th, 1911 in Cedar Fort Utah, to Joseph Calton and Mary Inger Wilcox Calton.
She attended school in Cedar Fort and Lehi, Utah.
She married Thomas Leslie Jones September 10th 1929. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Edith is survived by her sister Elsie Wilson, 3 Children: Richard Calton (Donna) Jones, Jack Leslie (Joan) Jones, Sharon Alice (Orven) Hudgens. 17 Grand-Children, 4 Step Grandchildren, 43 Great-Grandchildren, 7 Step Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her Husband, Daughter Melva Jane Jones Duggan, Son-In-Law James Duggan and Daughter-in-law Lillian Marie Pucci Jones.
She was a gifted seamstress, and talented with handcraft arts including crochet, and quilting. Edith was an excellent cook and her famous scones will be missed as will she.
Services will be held September 3rd, 2012 at the Ivins Ward located at 1860 South 300 East, SLC.
A viewing will be from 10-11:30 am. Funeral will follow at 12:00 noon.
Internment will be at the Bluffdale City Cemetery at 3:00 pm. Please send condolences to www.serenicare.com
