Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother returned to her Heavenly Father on January 24, 2012 due to incidents related to age. Eileen was born on August 24, 1931 in Oakland, California to Ralph Emerson Riley and Evangeline E. Piva. Eileen married Waldo E. "Bill" Brown on March 16, 1951. They had two children, David and Nancy.
Eileen was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints soon after her marriage and taught Primary and later on was a Stake Organist in the Klamath Falls, Oregon Stake. She was a gifted pianist and also loved to sing. She taught piano lessons for many years. She passed on her love for music to her family.

She worked as a bank teller early in her married life, and later was a medical secretary for Klamath Ophthalmology in Klamath Falls, Oregon where she lived for 33 years with her family.

She is survived by her husband Waldo Emerson Brown Jr. of 61 years, a son, David Ralph Brown(Kristina Wall Brown) of Anchorage, Alaska, a daughter Nancy Elizabeth Brown Nakae(Glenn Dean Nakae) of Syracuse, Utah. Eleven grandchildren and thirteen great- grandchildren were her treasures.
She was a resident of the Heritage Park Care Center in Roy for the past two years. The family expresses their heartfelt thanks to all the care-givers at the Care Center for their tender, loving-care. They would also like to thank the staff at Davis Hospital for their compassionate medical attention. A special thanks to Inspiration Hospice Care for their help in the final hours.

A viewing will be on Friday, January 27, 2012 beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Syracuse South Stake Center, 3065 S. Bluff Rd., Syracuse, Utah, with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at the Syracuse Cemetery.
