Eldon S Ward

Elden Shirley Ward, age 86 passed away May 12, 2010 in Sandy, Utah. He was born July 5, 1923 in Silver Creek, Nebraska, the son of Myron V Ward and Grace Blencoe. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a radio man in a B - 17 with the 15th AAF. He served thirty missions. Elden married Florence F Petterson and were parents to Shirley and David E Ward. He is survived by his daughter, Shirley Hoff and son, David E Ward and their families. He is also survived by his sister Jo Ann McCormick. Elden retired as the Director of Communications for the Union Pacific Railroad. He loved to go hunting, fishing and traveling.
There was a rememberance with friends at the Sunrise Assisted Living in Sandy on Monday, May 17, 2010 from 2 to 3:00 PM. (2130 East 9400 South). Burial will be in Silver Creek, Nebraska on June 12, 2010.
