Eliazar Cantu Jr, 39, of Ogden passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010 peacefully in his sleep. He was born to Teresa (Rocky Moncada) and Eliazar Cantu Sr (Margaret Trujillo) in Hayward, California on November 27, 1970. He then went on to Clearfield Job Corp studying to be a painter. He then met and married his wife, Karen Lucero,on December 27,1988. His hobbies were fishing, working on cars, and being with his grand-daughter and family. He is survived by his wife, Karen Cantu and his three daughters: Kartrina, Sara, and Samantha Cantu, one grand-daughter. Nikeyan Garcia, a brother, Jason Cantu (Pam) and step-brother, Greg Martinez. Also survived by his mother and father, Teresa Cantu and Eliazar Cantu Sr and many neices and nephews, who loved him. He was preceeded in death by his brother-in-law Leroy Lucero and his nephew Robert Lucero.

Funeral Services will be held at St Joseph's Church, 24th and Adams in Ogden, on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 10am with a viewing at 9:30am. Following the Mass, Eliazar will be taken to Lindquist Memorial Park.
