Elizabeth P. Robinson - St. George, UT, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away at age 93 on October 6, 2009. She was born on January 14, 1916 in Elberton, Georgia, the first of four children to Oscar and Lois Durham. She was raised in south Texas where she met her first husband, Albert T. Douglas. Elizabeth lived most of her life in Kansas City, MO. She made her living working in alterations at many of the elite department stores in Kansas City, and brought her business home in 1956, where many of her customers remained loyal to her. She touched the lives of the many friends she made everywhere she went. She was an active member for many years of the Wornall Road Baptist Church in Kansas City and recently the Southland Bible Church in St. George. Elizabeth love to travel and enjoyed playing cards especially in her later years. She is survived by her daughter Charlene Trahern (Gene) Nuttall; Six Grandchildren who she adored, Laramie Gildesgard, Jennifer Trunnels, Paul Bryant, Amy Schiavo, DeeDee Sadler and Peter Bryant and Ten great- grandchildren. Preceded in death by husbands; Albert T. Douglas, Harold Pratt, John Waddell, and Warren Robinson; three younger brothers Herman Durham, Marshall Durham, June Durham; and a son earlier this year, Charles Trahern Douglas. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday November 7, 2009 at the Southland Bible Church, 195 East Arrowweed Way, Washington, UT. In lieu of flowers please make donations in her name, to the Hope Pregnancy Care Center 427 W. 100 S. Suite B, St. George, UT 84770 of which she was an avid supporter. The family would like to thank all those involved in Elizabeth's care at; Kolob Care and Rehab, Ridge View Gardens Assisted Living and Zion's Way Hospice.
