Erna Baer Moore

Erna Baer Moore passed away peacefully on December 30, 2006, after a short battle with cancer.
She was born on March 8, 1927 in Nuremburg, Germany to Hermann Baer and Emilie Strebel. She moved to Utah in 1958. Married Charles E. Moore on July 14th, 1962, later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.
Erna and Charles enjoyed traveling and took many trips around the West. She was an active member of the LDS Church and found great joy in working in the ward library for many years. She loved knitting blankets and doing embroidery. She worked for many years as a house cleaner and developed wonderful long term relationships with those she worked for. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survived by her husband, Charles; and sons, Gary (Polly) of Draper and Peter (Catherine) of Salt Lake City, and 2 grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Dora and Betty; brother, Herman. Special thanks to Care Source for all of their care.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 4, 2007, at the Jordan North 4th Ward, 4100 South Bangerter Hwy. at noon. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. - noon. Interment will be at Mountain View Memorial Estates Cemetery, 3115 Bengal Blvd.,Sandy, Utah.
