Our Father in Heaven wrapped his arms securely around our mother, grandmother, great-grand mother, as one of his most chosen daughters returned to live with him on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008. Salesi Aakihakau and Salote Lofa were blessed with her birth on September 2, 1922. She married the late Osika V. Wolfgramm on Aug. 31, 1937, sealed in the New Zealand temple and was blessed with 12 beautiful children.
She is survived by her children Hamani (Joann), Kilisitina (Sani), Lamistoni (Daphne) Salesi A., (Died at birth) Lutuiki (Silivia), Brownless (Amelia) Otta (Eva), Oloka (Siaosi), Lavina (Fine) Ma'ake, Iohani and Viliami; 48 grandchildren, 82 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, as well as her eldest Sister Lesieli Kinganoa Taufoou. She is preceded in death by her husband Osika; sons Lutuiki and Salesi; and sisters Ana Lieti Wolfgramm and Po Faiva Penitani.
Our grandma Lavi will be always be remembered for her tireless dedication to her husband, home and family. She was a very steadfast, faithful member of the LDS church.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov 28, 2008 from 7:00 P.M to 11:00 P.M. at the Pioneer Stake Center 1400 West 700 South. Saturday memorial service will be held at Riverside Chapel 650 North Redwood Road, from 11am to 12pm. Burial services are at Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
