Eudine "Deanie" Dette Willis Teuscher - Surrounded by her family, our beautiful mother left this mortal existence and was freed from the pain and suffering she endured for over 20 years. Born in Vidalia, Georgia Nov. 12, 1939 to Remer Willis and Willie Mae "Mazie" Caraway, she was the oldest and one of 6 children. Lee Wade (Hellen), Ann, Helen, Larry (Faye), Donnie (Rachel). She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Lee Wade "Buddy." In the days of Elvis Presley and poodle skirts, she met the love of her life, a handsome Air Force recruit from Geneva, Idaho, Royce Christian Teuscher (1936). After a short courtship, she hopped a train and they were married in the Idaho Falls Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Nov. 10, 1961. They began their lifelong journey of Air Force travel until Retirement. From Savannah, GA., to Guam, Hong Kong, & Japan, to Fort Walton Beach FL., Kansas City, KS & Missouri, where she waited, with 4 children, for our father to return from the Vietnam War. Then, on to Honolulu HI., where the last of her 5 children was born, Glendale AZ., Montpelier, ID., Logan UT., Farmington UT., Fruit Heights UT., Kissimmee FL., Bountiful UT., Morgan UT., North Ogden UT., and finally Pleasant View UT. While having lived in these many places, she traveled many trips in between. Eudine had a strong testimony of Jesus Christ and the atonement. Throughout her life, she valiantly served the Lord in many capacities; including Teacher, RS President, Stake Primary President, Counselor, Logan Temple youth Coordinator, and Mother. She loved southern food and Hawaiian Sunsets, and working on Family History. She found great joy in her posterity which all survive and includes: 5 Children & 14 grandchildren - Lori (Robert- Abigail, Trevor, Jaynanne, Spencer, Mollie, Oskar), Susan (Paul-Adam, Steffanie, Royal), Chris (Tabitha-Tyler, Zachary, Morgan), Greg (Desiree-Jordan), Brian-Royce, and step daughter Alyssa. 3 Great Grandchildren - Adam-Viktor, Jude, Dean. A viewing will be held Feb. 1, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. -11 :15 a.m at the North Ogden Stake Center 650 East 2600 North, North Ogden, UT. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. conducted by Bishop Keith Preece of the Pleasant View 10th Ward. Interment will be at the Millville Cemetery, Millville Utah. A special thanks to the sisters of the Pleasant View 10th ward for their compassionate and unselish service for the last 4 years, and to the tender care given by her hospice nurses in her last days.
