Eugene Lamar Evans

Gene was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Bryon Delbert Evans and Mae Regan. He died in the loving arms of his family at the home of his son, Gene. He was a kind and gentle man who gave so much and asked for very little. Gene is survived by his sons: Gene (Debbie) and Edward, Grandchildren: Cody, Gene (Kelly), Derek, Lynsie (Avalon), Jaime, Tina (Mike), Ashley, Kayla (Gabriel), Anthony, Gina (Yazzie), and Michael who shared his same birthday, special nephew: Tim (Mandy), along with several other special nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Preceeded in death by: parents, brothers, sister, daughter-in-law - Tena, and reunited in the loving arms of his beautiful wife, Shirley. Special thanks to Debbie's co-workers and friends at CNS Hospice, also to good friend Frankie Cunningham for her many years of love and devotion. Per his request, private family services were held. Grandpa impacted so many of our lifes and led us in the right direction to become the people we are today. Love does not die and we will carry him with us in our hearts forever until we will be reunited with him. We offer his soul up to Heaven with much love and respect. We are so grateful to him that he entrusted us to care for him and share his final months.
