Fern Ada Lemmon passed away peacefully at her home in West Valley surrounded by her loving family. Fern was born July 23, 1933 in Salt Lake City to Elmer James and Ada Fern Hendrickson Powell. She married Clarence Junior Lemmon on May 24th 1952 and raised five children. She was Mom to many.
She worked as secretary of Custom Industries for 23 years. She was active in the World of Outlaws Racing Circuit with her husband and her faithful companion, Grizzly
Fern is survived by her children: C. James Lemmon, Marilyn Goddard, Lloyd Lemmon, and Sheryl Mukhar; a brother, Lamar Powell; 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son, Boyd Lemmon, and 3 brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at 12:00 noon at the Hunter 20th Ward, 7035 W. 3605 S. in West Valley City. Friends and family may call at the church one hour prior to the service. Also on Monday January 22nd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. there will be a viewing and reception at 870 E. Union Avenue (7145 S.) in Midvale, Utah. Interment at Elysian Gardens.
