Flora Ruth Stott Silver, age 85, passed away July 5, 2011 in Saint George, Utah. Born July 11, 1925 in Manti, Utah to Charles Orval Stott and Flora Bushnell. She married Ralph Taylor Silver on June 20, 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple. She received her B.S. degree June 1947 in Elementary Education from USU in Logan. She taught school in Heber City 1964-1985. She has always been an active member of the LDS Church serving in many callings. She served a temple mission with her husband in the Atlanta Georgia Temple 1987-1989. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Verna Bach and Merlene Cook; two sons-in-law, Darrell Wimmer and Paul Sabin; two grandsons, Cory Carlile and Craig Carlile. Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years; four children, Carolyn (Lee) Carlile of St. George, Gary (Mary) Silver of Farmington, Linda Wimmer of Orem, Gaylene Sabin (Spencer) Call of Spanish Fork; 24 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at East Lawn Memorial Park, 4800 North 650 East, Provo, Utah. A special thanks to Utah Hospice for their loving care.
