Frank Edward Lawrence
Our beloved Father, husband and grandfather was welcomed into the loving arms of our Savior on July 13, 2012
Frank was born December 28, 1927 in Tacoma Washington to Frank E. and Alice Lawrence.
He married his loving wife Kim in May 1968 in Arlington Virginia. Together they had a son Martin C. Lawrence.
Frank Attended George Washington University, and Served in the U.S. Army as a member of the Army Ski Troops for the 38th Regimental Combat Team, then was a member of the elite Counter Intelligence Corps (CIC). Frank was a retired Federal Agent for the Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC) and a World War II era veteran.
Frank was a member of MENSA, the American Legion as well as Sons of the Revolution and Sigma Nu fraternity.
In his younger days, he belonged to the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) and loved racing his Jaguar.
Some of his hobbies included traveling, skiing, target shooting, skydiving, mountain climbing photography and electronic tinkering.
He enjoyed sharing many stories of his life to family and friends.
Frank is survived by his wife Kim H. Lawrence, his son Martin C. Lawrence, Daughter in law Jolene A. Lawrence and his two grandchildren Ashley and Christopher Lawrence as well as several nephews and cousins.
Frank will be laid to rest on July 16, 2012 at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park in Bluffdale, Utah
