Frank Rousseau Morse, 72, returned to his Heavenly Father, at his home, on Sept 2, 2008 in Springville, Utah after a 25 year battle with heart disease. He was born January 27, 1936, to Carroll Edward and Alice Rousseau Morse in Rochester, NH Frank was raised in Rochester where he spent time at the Saint Charles Orphanage and attended Holy Rosary grammar school and Spaulding High School. Later he attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston Mass. He was in the US Air Force and spent 7 years as a Dental Assistant.
Frank married Joanne Gingras Morse in Haverhill, MA, on June 19, 1964, and sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple March 28, 2002.
His working life was spent as an electrician and was also HVAC certified and worked for Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. He moved to Futlon, NY in 1977 and retired from Miller Brewery in 1989 due to a heart condition. He was a member of IAMW # 1793 and was a New York State Residential Electrical Inspector. Prior to moving to Springville in 2004, he was a resident of Zephyrhills, FL, Fulton, NY and Haverhill Mass.
Being a husband, best friend and father to his beloved children as well as a grandfather to his grandchildren and great grandchildren were his top priority. He shared his talents WITH others and was always helping someone in need. He volunteered in the Scouting program for many years with Pack and Troop 13, Haverhill, MA, and held many callings in the LDS church. Playing sports was a great joy to him. He played softball on the F.O.E . Eagles (Haverhill, Ma. team for many years. He played for the Silly Hillies in Haverhill, MA, a volunteer charity team of men who dressed like silly girls and played different teams around the state, raising money for the Association for Retarded Children and other organizations. At the first game, Rose Kennedy donated $3,000. He was a Little League assistant baseball coach for many years and an avid Red Sox fan. He loved watching his grandchildren play sports, camping, traveling, fishing, and woodworking. Frank was a Friend of Bill W. and very involved in AA for over 30 years, helping hundreds along the way Frank is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joanne (Gingras) Morse of Springville Ut. , Children: Cathy Lee (Timothy) Cantara, Timothy D. (Cheryl) Morse, Tracy L. (Debbie) Morse, Anthony S. Morse, Eric C. Morse and Frank, Jr. (Deborah) Morse; his grandchildren: April Scioscia of Manchester NH, Angela Cantara Tardif (Edward) of Lee, NH, Michael Morse, Jr. of Onset, MA, Julie Cantara of Haverhill, MA, Tina West of Bradford, MA, Telia (Brendan) Finck of Fulton, NY, Timothy Morse Jr of Fulton, NY, Rachael Morse of Newington, NH, Stephanie Langdon of Fulton, NY, Raymond Morse of Greenland, NH, Falisha Morse of Springville, UT, Audrey Morse of NY, Nicholas Morse of Fulton, NY, Bradley Morse of Springville, UT, Jeffrey Morse of Hannibal, NY, Kelly and Cassandra Morse of Merrimac, MA, Jonathan and Whitney Morse of Alpine, UT, Teresa, Marissa and Devin Morse of Springville, UT; he also left behind 11 great grandchildren. A brother Roland (Muriel) Baxter of Rochester, NH, a sister Shirley (Raymond) Paris of Chester, NH and a sister-in-law Sheila Perrault of Salem, NH, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Michael R. Morse and Granddaughter Christina Joanne Morse.

Funeral for Frank Rousseau Morse will be held on Saturday, Septemeber 6, 2008 at the LDS church, Spring Creek 14th Ward (672 N. 250 W) Springville, Utah. The viewing to take place between 1:00-2:00 p.m. and funeral service will take place between 2:00-3:00 p.m.
The family requests that any donations be made in Frank's name to the American Diabetes Society, the American Heart Association, and the American Lung Association.
