Frederick Leroy Harwood

Frederick Leroy Harwood, passed away peacefully at home on October 8th 2011, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 28th 1935, to Leroy A. and Dorothy L. (Leavitt) Harwood in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1953 where he was a photographer on the newspaper staff. Fred met the love of his life, Marcia Rae Harris, they were married on September 15th 1960. He was a senior computer analyst at Blue Cross for many years before he started his own accounting business. He endured many physical challenges without complaint and found his strength in God. Fred said "I am so thankful for the life the Lord has given me and the associated blessings and lessons I have learned and for the love of my family and dear friends." He is survived by his son Mark (Linda) Harwood, his daughters, Danielle (Scot) Roberts, Tracy (Elia) Maeli, Robin (Mark) Boling, Launi (Paul) Haygood, his sister Betty Roberts, brother Gerald (Jackie)Harwood, 16 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his dear wife Marcia. A memorial service will be held in his honor on October 13th, 2011 at 11am at the West Lake Community Church, 11W Hillcrest Rd. Saratoga Springs, UT.
