Gale Leone Wooley

Gale Leone Wooley, husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Sunday May 6, 2007, peacefully in his home in Springville Utah. He was born on Oct. 12, 1938 in Hatch, Utah to Leone and Veota Wooley. He graduated from high school in Orem and then enlisted in the Air Force. He served honorably and was discharged in 1963. He married Eleanor Mattson in 1961, they had two children. He lost his wife and daughter in an accident in 1966, He married Louise Vestal in 1967 and they had two children. They were later divorced. He worked for Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Co. for 37 years and retired in 2003.
He is survived by two sons, Adam (Donna) Wooley , of Orem, and Brian Wooley of Provo, daughter, Debra (Nick)Tarrant of San Francisco, 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor and daughter Susan Katherine, parents, Leone and Veota Wooley.
Graveside services were held Thursday May 10, 2007 under the direction of SereniCare funeral home. Interment at Orem City Cemetery.
