Gareth James Peterson

Gareth James Peterson returned to his Heavenly Father on April 11, 2012. Born to parents Violet and Cloye James Peterson in Price, UT on April 24, 1934.
Graduated from Carbon High School in 1952 where he was an elite athlete participating in basketball and football where they were state champs. Received a Scholarship to University of Utah. Married Lilli Ann Muhlestein August 17, 1952, later sealed in Salt Lake Temple. They had a lovely daughter Terri Ann born to them May 1, 1955. Lilli and Terri were the loves of his life. He shared the game of golf with his wife and daughter. He was a lifetime Salesman and enjoyed his work. He was a member of the LDS church and enjoyed the companionship of ward members. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Survived by wife Lilli, son-in-law Scott Nichol, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter Terri Ann Nichol. Funeral services will be held at Ridge Creek Ward 5735 Fashion Place Boulevard, Murray UT from 11 a.m. - 12 on Monday, April 14, 2012. Viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Interment at Murray City Cemetery.
