Gary Lewis Griffin, age 62, died Apr. 8, 2008 in Murray, Utah.
Born Feb. 23, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lewis David and Jeanne Georgia Moriarty Griffin.
Married Jolynn Moser, Sep. 2, 1965. Later divorced.
Gary attended South High School and later entered the Navy Reserve. He worked as a Security Officer, had driven taxi and had worked for UTA as a bus driver.
He enjoyed coaching softball, fishing, horseracing, bingo and football. He enjoyed spending time with his girls, Lorry and April and his grandchildren, Tyrone, Candice, Lakeisha, Aysia, Harley and Lennox.
Gary is survived by his daughters, Lorry (Jim) Hamlin and April (Larry) Slagowski, his brothers, David and Ronnie Griffin, his grandchildren, and his nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Thurs. Apr. 17, 2008 at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park Chapel, 17111 S. Camp Williams Rd., Bluffdale, Utah at 1:00 p.m. A viewing will precede the funeral at noon. Interment will be at Utah Veterans Memorial Park. Funeral services under the direction of SereniCare Funeral Home.
