Gary Neil Watkins

Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Gary Neil Watkins, 65, died peacefully at home in Murray, Utah on April 19, 2008,surrounded by his living family. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 17, 1942 to Frank Carter and Ruby Leora Hansen Watkins. He married Audrey M. Jameson in 1985 in Salt Lake City.
Neil served his country faithfully in the U. S. Army. After his service, he worked for many years as a truck driver. He loved spending time with his family. His favorite pastimes included hunting, fishing and tinkering on his cars.
Neil is survived by his wife and his five children: Kyle (Marcie) Watkins, Korrie (Jeff) Canham, Wade (Shauna) Meik, Karla Meik and Joe Keeler. He is also survived by grandchildren Kolten, Jana, Vanessa, Brittney, Myles, Ryan, Dalton, Mason, Kassity, Kolby, Stevie, Joshua; great-grandchildren Kasey, Jacoby, Kapri, Kada; brother Frank Watkins and sisters Shirley Crosby, Linda (Hugh) Vance, Carol Pendleton, Gerrie Linford and Valarie Watkins.
The family wishes to thank those who helped take care of Gary in his final days.
