Gayla Rose McDonald passed away peacefully June 3, 2010, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on Aug. 3, 1966 in SLC, UT to Judith Rose Woolston and David T. Anzures. She was a member of the LDS church. Gayla carried the weight of the world with patience and had a heart of gold. She will be remembered for her love for others, joyful attitude and infectious laugh. She is survived by her father, David Anzures; sisters, Christina Grey, Nyree Anzures, Ronica Reyes, Andrea Moore, and Shelle Merchant; and brothers, Eric Hudson and Sean Merchant. Her mother, Judith Rose Hill; grandparents, Rose and David Woolston, Lily Torress and Harry Anzures; and sisters, Eva Hale, Lucile Otero preceded her in death. The family would like to give a special thanks to Angie Anderson and Marcia Allgood for offering a home filled with live and kindness. Funeral services will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of SereniCare Funeral Home.
