GeorgeAnn (Leng) Bonemeyer, 78, died on May 10, 2010. She had ovarian cancer. She will always be remembered for her kind and caring ways by her family and those who knew her.
She was born December 4, 1931, to George and Marie Leng in Grand Forks, ND where she lived most of her life. She was a loving wife, a kind, generous, and devoted mother of four, and a proud and doting grandmother. She loved visiting with family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling and playing cards.
In 1958, she married Ray Bonemeyer and continued to live in Grand Forks while raising a family. In 1997 the couple retired to Bella Vista, AR, where she enjoyed making new friends.
After being diagnosed with cancer in the spring of 2008, she spent time living in Big Sky, MT under the care of her daughter, Mary Patton, who also had ovarian cancer. In 2009 GeorgeAnn moved to High Point, NC, and recently to Salt Lake City, UT, to be with her children and grandchildren during her final days. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, George; stepbrother Charlie; stepsister Evelyn; Ray, her loving husband of 43 years; her daughter Mary; and sister-in-law Ceil Bonemeyer.
GeorgeAnn is survived by her son Greg (Jessica) Bonemeyer of Riverton, UT, and their children Neil and Erich; daughter Kathy of Bartlesville, OK; and son Jeff of Belews Creek, NC.
A memorial service for GeorgeAnn will be held on Saturday, June 12th at 9:30 a.m. at The Big Sky Chapel, 510 Little Coyote Road, Big Sky, MT 59716.
GeorgeAnn's wishes were to have her body cremated and her ashes be placed with her husband's in Bella Vista, AR.
The family has designated the following charities for memorial contributions: Bella Vista Animal Shelter, 32 Bella Vista Way, Bella Vista, Arkansas 72714; Bozeman Deaconess Cancer Center, 915 Highland Blvd., Bozeman, MT 59715
