Geraldine Freeman Casey

Jeri passed away peacefully March 29, 2009 surrounded by family. She was born August 25, 1938 in Salt Lake City to James and Adelaide Freeman. She graduated in 1956 from West High School. She was a typical 1950's doo-wop teenager, and met and married Rex P Casey on July 6, 1958. Together, they raised three children. Jeri was a homemaker and a mother, and her family was her greatest joy. She loved cooking big meals for her kids and grandchildren, for family get together. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jeri is survived by her husband, and there three children, Joni (Kim) Player, Teri (Michael) Sanders, Danny (Chris) Casey; John Sanders; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; her baby sister, Adele. Her parents and her brothers Jim and Steve preceded her in death. You are my sunshine. Your love and Joy will live on forever. Graveside Services will be on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
