Gertrude Maud Elliott, age 99, died Saturday August 29, 2009 in Springville, Ut. She was born January 20, 1910 in London, England to Henry and Mary Burges.
Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband Harry Thomas Elliott., sisters Hilda Young and Dorothy McGillivary, and sister-in-law Audrey Burges.
She enjoyed playing the organ, knitting, embroidery and crocheting. Gertrude is survived by her twin daughters, Joan Arnold of Springville, Utah and Barbara Peterson and her husband Lawrence of Watertown, South Dakota and 14 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Evergreen Cemetary in Springville, Utah.
