Gordon Moyer Oettli, 73 of Salt Lake City, Utah passed away on Monday, March 15, 2010 after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born on April 18, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Eva Moyer and Anton J Oettli. Gordon married Bonnie M. Brain and together they had three sons, they were later divorced. Gordon then married Evelyn Leatham. Gordon graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S Degree and holds a Class B underwriting designation from FNMA. Gordon worked in the banking industry working for Prudential Federal Savings and Loan Association, Tracy Morgan Company, and First Federal Savings and Loan Association. Gordon held many titles from Senior Vice President to Loan Counselor. Gordon was actively involved in his community on numerous boards, some of which where, Utah Housing Coalition, Utah Mortgage Bankers Board of governors, and was on the state and local Liaison for the Mortgage Bankers Legislative. Gordon enjoyed golfing with his sons, his fraternity brothers at Sigma Nu, and his colleagues and friends. He also enjoyed his many fond memories of the times he spent in Hawaii. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Oettli; sons, Jonathan (Jennifer) Oettli; Adam (Amanda) Oettli; 4 grandchildren; sister, Joni Lee Peterson; and brother, Roger R Oettli. His parents, a brother, Scott and a son Geoffrey preceded him in Death. As per Gordon's request there will be no services and in lieu of flowers donations can be sent to a charity of choice.
