Heidi Hatton, a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away unexpectedly on November 17, 2010. She was born to Gaylen Hatton and Mary Ann Johnson Hatton on October 2, 1962 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a successful business woman, owning at one time three Arctic Circle Restaurants. Developing her skills she became Event Coordinator at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Heidi was a very talented and accomplished musician and composer, becoming the CEO of Steve Ford Music in Chicago. She was the producer of her own company Traffic Jam Productions. Her bands, Common Ground and Crimson Blue, in which she performed as a singer, guitarist, lyricist, and composer, received many prizes, awards, and recognition in the music industry. She continued to compose and produce music until her death. Heidi's music talents brought great joy to others. She is survived by her mother, sister Nannette (E.J.) Landry, brothers Keven (Jodilyn) Hatton and David Hatton, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt and uncle. Viewing for family and friends will be held Monday November 22, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Followed by funeral services at 12:00 noon, held at the Country Park 1st Ward on 2700 West and 11251 South, South Jordan, Utah. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the LDS Church Perpetual Education Fund.
