Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, Herbert Pritchett, 78, returned to the Good Shepherd the evening of February 26, 2013 in Alice, Texas. Herbert was born December 17, 1934 in Beaver Creek Township, Illinois Merel Pritchett. After some time in high School, Herbert decided to join the United States Marine Core at 17 years old. In the eight years he was enlisted, Herbert, served two tours of duty in the Korean conflict, and spent the remainder of his military career as a Drill Instructor for basic training. After his service in the military, Herbert found many interesting job opportunities such as, working in a paper mill, construction, foster parenting, and driving school busses. Herbert enjoyed watching sports, raising animals, playing and laughter in life, also coaching and Working with children. But most of all he loved his family. Herbert is survived by his wife Norma Pritchett, His son Kenneth (Rosa) Pritchett, Jane (Andrew) Trotter, Judy (Peter) Tollios. He is also survived by his grandchildren Marcella (David) Owens, Kenneth Pritchett II., Alexander (Peachy) Pritchett, Andrea Pritchett, Christian Hernandez, Luis Hernandez. And great grandchildren Aja, Joaquin, Ihilani, Leilani, Holly, Bradley, Carrie, and Laren. A grave side service wes held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 23029 North Cave Creek Road Phoenix, Arizona 85024.
