Our beloved Bessie Cynthia Barnes Hone passed away May 7, 2012.
Bessie was born on September 14, 1930 , to James Lindsay Barnes and LaPreal North Barnes, in Heber City, Utah.
She married Jesse Dean Hone on April 17, 1949, which was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple.
Bessie had many occupations throughout her life, some of which included being a homemaker and a truck driver hauling sugar beets.
She also had numerous hobbies and interests and stayed busy as an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Stake Young Women's Secretary, an avid temple worker - going as much as possible, volunteering as a Pink Lady at Tremonton Hospital, as well as participating in many other civic organizations.
Bessie is survived by her brother Joe (Norma) Barnes, and four sisters, Pat (Bob) Fausett, Janet (Richard) Rhoades, Lucile (Jerry) Giles and Lawna Young; daughter-in-law Marcy Hone; 3 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; 1 special daughter and 2 grandchildren; 3 sister-in-laws and 1 brother-in-law. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean; sons, James Dean Hone and Thomas Eugene Hone; great granddaughter Karley D Hone; three brothers and one sister.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Alpine Hospice and the Rocky Mountain Care Center for their wonderful service and care for Bessie.
In lieu of flowers a memorial account for Bessie has been set up and can have contributions made at any Wells Fargo bank.
Funeral services are to be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at the Heber 2nd Ward - 150 North 200 West, Heber City, Utah. Family and friends my call at the church at 11:00 am for a viewing prior to services. Interment will be at the Heber City Cemetery.
