Ida Lucy Paulson Woodard Scoggan, born March 13, 1918 to Vernon A. & Ora L. Paulson in Provo, Utah. She died July 12, 2007, peacefully in her son's home in So. Jordan.
She married Lee O. Woodard on 5-24-37 in the Salt Lake City Temple. They had 6 children together. They later divorced and she married Alvin Leroy Scoggan in Elko, Nevada. They had one daughter.
She worked as a checker for 22 years. She loved to crochet and later in life she enjoyed her little puppies that loved her too. She was cheerful to the very end and she will be missed by all.
She is survived by 5 children, Patricia Wilson (Jay), Lora Lee Burdick, Larry O. Woodard (Rolleene), Richard Woodard, Alene Allen, & her sister, Lavern Hardy & many nieces and nephews. She has 21 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren whom she loved very much. and was always so happy when they came by to see her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Al; son, Vern Lee Woodard (Linda); grandson, Lee O. Woodard and daughter, La Jean Smith Burdick.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2007 in the Highland 5th Ward Chapel, 10115 Yorkshire Drive (4350 W.), So. Jordan, Utah. A viewing will be held at the same Church on Sunday, July 15th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and also on Monday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be at Redwood Memorial Park.
We want to thank hospice for being so helpful and good to her. They were wonderful.
