St. George, UT - Ila Jean Moore, age 75, was killed March 10, 2010, in a traffic accident along with her sister, Karen Gummow. Ila was born February 26, 1935, in Rexburg, ID, the fourth child of six born to Leo James and Gladys Miller Huskinson.
Ila attended public school in Rexburg and graduated from Madison High School. She later attended Ricks College and BYU. She served a mission for the LDS Church in Australia and later worked for Walker Bank in Salt Lake City. When her health permitted, she enjoyed participating in sports. When she was no longer able to participate, she became a spectator. After moving to St. George, Ila married Weldon V. Moore.
Ila is survived by: brothers, Garn (Colleen) Huskinson, and Morris, (Linda) Huskinson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Sherman; sister, Ruth; and sisters-in-law Ellen and Shirley.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., at the Morningside 7th Ward Chapel, 879 S. River Road. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be held at the Tonaquint Cemetery.
