Ilene McDonald Madsen

Our sweet Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed away on Sunday, Nov 2nd, 2008 after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born May 2nd, 1935 in Heber, Utah to Cal and Luella McDonald. She attended P.H.S. and on Dec 7th, 1953 she married her sweetheart, John B Madsen. She retired from Orem Kmart and was a member of the D.U.P. She loved to roller skate, crochet, crossword puzzles and long mtn. rides, but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband John, children: Brenda (Ray) Evans, Jim (Ruth) Madsen, Julie (Darrin) Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her son, Calvin Madsen and daughter, Joyce Paxton.
Services will be Thurs., Nov. 6th at 12:00 pm at the Chapel 750 W. 50 S. in Orem. Viewing held 1 hour prior. Interment will be held at East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery. Special Thanks to Vista Care Hospice.
