Isabella Lucy Offret Phillips Lewis

Isabella Lucy Offret Phillips Lewis
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend born 3 January 1925 in Provo Utah, joined her husband and loved ones in a grander place on 1 November 2011.
Isabella was 8th of 9 children born to Yves Marion Offret and Bertha Eliza Bates all of whom preceded her in death. Sisters; Bertha, Silvia, Vera, Vivian, DeVerl. Brothers; Marion, DeVar, Henry.
On 28 July 1945 Isabella married her sweetheart and eternal companion Glen Adams Phillips of American Fork Utah. They resided in Wildwood, Utah, Orem, Utah and finally Pleasant Grove, Utah where they raised their 7 children; Cynthia Bell (Robert Sutch), Glen Adams, Jr. (Melissa), Karin Lee (Carson Nehring), Michael D. (Debi), David O. (Allyson), Alan Yves (Barbara) and Elizabeth (Zack Matson). Grandmother of 43, great-grandmother of 91 and great-great grandmother of 2.
Isabella was loved by many but loved and helped many more. Her life was centered in serving her family, friends and neighbors; being a living example of unconditional love and graciousness.
In 1990 the love of her life was called home to our Heavenly Father after 45 years of blissful marriage. In March of 1992 a widowed friend and neighbor of many years joined Isabella in holy matrimony and Dale W. Lewis became companion and loving helpmate until her death.
Isabella graduated from Lincoln High School in 1943 and continued on at Central Utah Vocational School where she met Glen Adams Phillips before he left for service in the US Air Force.
Isabella was a devout member of the LDS church throughout her adult life serving in many callings and faithfully supporting her husband Glen Adams as Bishop of the Pleasant Grove 4th Ward.
In the community she was an active volunteer and served as President of the Local Chapter of the American Heart Association. In faith she never denied, in example she never faltered, in service she always gave.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 5 November at 11:00 a.m. at the Garden 6th Ward meeting house at 905 North 500 West in Pleasant Grove, Utah.
