Jackie returned to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 1, 2017. She was born on April 2, 1935 to Arthur and Hortense Prince. She married William R. Werrett on May 4, 1955.
Jackie loved being a Mother and Grandmother. She enjoyed camping, boating, skiing and getting the family together for big meals, games and laughter. We all have great memories of family time at Pineview Reservoir as kids. She was a talented singer and loved music. She always had something uplifting to play to improve any stressful situation, especially long road trips. She enjoyed watching and participating in plays and musicals. She was a member of the singing group Sweet Adelines. She would break out in song on a daily basis. She loved to dance. We have many sweet memories of mom and dad waltzing around our home together. She was a hard worker. She managed her home full of children as well as working outside of the home in various positions throughout her life. She was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jackie’s life was all about serving others. She sought out and readily volunteered to help those in need. She was outgoing, kind and fun to be around. She accepted and loved easily. She was an incredible person. Those who knew her loved her and she will be missed. Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to our dear mother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Kaye Marie Prince, her husband, her sons, Shannon Blake Werrett and Bradley Werrett and her grandson, Matthew Werrett.
She is survived by her sisters: Patricia (Ronald) Dunn, Karen (Robert) Darling and Laurie Prince Badger and her children: Deborah Roberts, Steven Werrett, Rochelle (Andre) Allen, Kathryn (Barry) McCann, Jeannine (Jeff ) Nielsen, and Maria Werrett and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
