Jacquelyn Lee Sommerdyke

Our loving mother, Jacquelyn Lee Sommerdyke, born July 23, 1936, in Gary IN; passed away at home in Draper, UT, on June 11, 2006, after a courageous battle with ALS, surrounded by loved ones.
Survived by her children; Kevin, (Terry) Sommerdyke, Draper UT; Kurt Sommerdyke, El Dorado, CA; Kristi Holmes, Meridian ID; and Kym (Jorma) Leen, Meridian, ID. 10 grandchildren: Stacie, Austin, Cailin, Dustin, Cody, Lyndie, Jessica, Skye, Kelli and Dean. Two brothers Al Pagin, Los Altos, CA and Carl Pagin, Griffith, IN and her mother Geraldine Juergens, Carmichael CA.
Special thanks for all the support and guidance we received from Dr. Mark Bromberg and his staff, the nursing staff from CNS, and MDA. Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in memory of Jacquelyn to the Motor Neuron Disease Clinic at U of U Department of Neurology, c/o Dr. Mark Bromberg to support the continued research of ALS.
