James Hays Huskinson, 50, of Santa Clara, UT, peacefully returned home to his Heavenly Father, to the great joy and excitement of those awaiting his return.
He was born December 19, 1958 to Barbara Jean and Ralph Wasden Huskinson. He married Elsie Ballard in 1980. They later divorced. He married Julie Darrington, the love of his life, November 5, 1999, in the Idaho Falls Temple. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the St. George Temple, January 24, 2004.
Jim was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served in the Minnesota Minneapolis Mission. He joyously served in many capacities in the church through his adult life. He graduated from Madison High School, Rexburg, ID, and recently received his Associate's Degree from Dixie State College. He was in the process of obtaining his Bachelor's Degree in communications at Dixie State. Jim's motto was, "When you are in the service of your fellow beings, you are only in the service of your God," and Jim lived this to the fullest of his ability. Jim's greatest joys were spending time with his companion, Julie, and his family. He loved his children and grandchildren. His definition of family included many others beyond traditional bonds.
He is survived by his wife, Julie, and children Emily, Joe, Chris, Katie, Randi, John, Staci, Liz, and Jake. Most precious of all are his grandchildren, Jonas, Allen, Taryne, Lily, Ethan, Daisy, and arriving soon, Ella. He is also survived by his mother, Barbara, stepmother Joyce, and siblings Randy, Pam, Ken, and Teresa. He was preceded in death by his father and best friend, Ralph.
