Janet Kaye Hughes Nickle, our loving "Kaye, Kaye" passed away peacefully on January 24, 2012, in Sandy, Utah. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 10, 1935 to Arville Marriott and Lila Curtis Hughes.
She married her sweetheart, Franklyn Albert Nickle, on June 26, 1953 in Crescent Utah, Avalon Ballroom, and was later sealed to her little family in the LDS Provo Utah Temple on December 23, 1976. They have four children, Debbie Vigos, Jody (Ladd) Timpson, Frank "Bud" (Colleen) Nickle and Shelly (Peni) Malohifo'ou.
She is a graduate of Jordan High School and worked in the Cottonwood Hospital Short Stay. Her best job was at home being Mom. She served a mission with her husband, LDS Church Service Mission in Nuku'alofa Tonga Mission.
Janet loved to travel. Some of her favorite places included San Francisco, Seattle, San Deigo, Hawaii. She loved her Winter Homes in Ivins, Utah and Yuma Arizona.
Remember the sweetness and her kind gentle face. Remember how amazing she would crochet lace. Remember her hugs and kisses each time, she would say "What amazing grandchildren of mine!" Remember her as "KK" wife, mom, sister and aunt. Remember her this way she will never be gone. Just waiting for us in that sweet special place, with God and with Jesus in their loving grace. Smile and don't you be sad she is happier now and has never been more glad.
She is survived by her husband Frank and her four children, 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Siblings Geraldine(Fred)Densley, Rosalie(Bob)Richey, brother Lyle(Fran)Hughes and Linda Bryant. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Barta Swenson.

Jessie, Denise, Stephie, Katie, Ruth, Dallin, Riley, Maria, Natalie, Sherry, Rebecca, Danielle, Henrey, Lydia, Shawn, Kelly, Claudia, Myrna, Kenzy,Julie, Grazina, Machell & daughter, and Camie and Millcreek CNA's Whitney, Shandra.
Services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Fairoaks Ward located at 615 East 8400 South, Sandy, Utah. Viewing 10:00-11:30 a.m., Funeral Services at 12:00 noon. Interment will be at Mountainview Memorial Cemetery 3115 E 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights.
