Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend Janice Nielson Miyatake Mackay left this earth on August 23, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. She was born September 20, 1935 in Manti, Utah to Janice and Lucy Nielson. Married George Miyatake (later divorced), lived in Gunnison, Utah, and later moved to Salt Lake City. Retired from UTA in 1999 after 23 years of service. Survived by daughter, Deborah Draper; sons, Greg Miyatake and Jeff (Janet) Miyatake; sisters, Marylou (Dean) Cluff and Joan Stringham; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son Michael. Services will be Tuesday, August 28th, 11:00 a.m. at the Holladay North Stake Center, 4395 S Albright Dr., Holladay. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 7 - 9 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to the services.
