Jason Ted Brown, 35, our beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away Sat., June 3, 2006, from an unfortunate motorcycle accident. Born Oct. 1, 1970 in Salt Lake City, UT to Reid A. and Merilyn N. "Sunnie" Brown.
Jason was a very accomplished skier and avid golfer. He enjoyed mountain biking, camping, backpacking, and took every opportunity to spend much of his time working, playing, and surrounding himself in nature's beauty and splendor. He had affection for his basset hounds, Berkley and Bogie, who accompanied him on many of his outdoor adventures.
Jason was a snowcat operator/groomer at Jackson Hole, WY and Alta Ski Resort. He was self-employed and installed numerous, well-engineered irrigation systems. He graduated from Alta High and attended Utah State and SLCC.
He is survived by his parents; his brothers, Michael R. (Marie) of Holladay, and Eric N. (Christine) of Taylorsville; his sister, Kris (Tim) Eden of State College, PA; two nephews and six nieces, family and friends.
Memorial services will be held Thurs., June 8, 2006, 11:00 a.m. at the Crescent 7th Ward, 949 E. 10600 S., Sandy, UT. Friends and family may call 1 _ hours prior to the services. Interment, Draper City Cemetery, 900 E 12451 S. SereniCare, funeral directors.
